Product description

Senzors’ model PMSL is a submersible level transmitter specifically designed for use in sewage and wastewater lift station applications. It features a non-sticky PVDF (thermoplastic fluoropolymer) diaphragm, a material famously known for its tremendous resistance and durability. The submersible level probe utilizes the latest leading-edge technologies to measure hydrostatic pressure and offers high performance and proven reliability.

The sensing element is a solid-state, piezoresistive MEMS silicon die. This technology provides excellent repeatability, increased long-term stability and reliability, and virtually no hysteresis. The silicon strain gage resides behind the PVDF diaphragm inside a 316L stainless steel housing and is completely isolated from the media.

The sensor signal is digitized, compensated and processed by a powerful, low power 32-bit microcontroller. It is then converted back to an amplified analog signal. The digital electronics ensures precise calibration of all critical parameters and achieves very high precision, thermal stability and compensation of all repeatable errors. Each unit is fully tested, compensated and calibrated for pressure and temperature. Each transmitter is shipped with a traceable calibration card.

The electronic circuit is packaged in a hermetically-sealed, all-welded 316L stainless steel housing enabling the PMSL to be immersed in water without internal leakage. This design is ideal for level measurements that can involve hostile liquids in the most severe environments.
