Industrial pressure transmitter - Model PT2V

Pressure transmitter PT2V

Product description

The PT2V model is a small, rugged and reliable pressure transmitter that utilizes the latest leading-edge technologies to measure high pressures. Its small size (approx. 3/4” x 2”), light weight and slim profile allows for mounting in places too tight for most other transmitters. The PT2V is a durable and accurate pressure transmitter specifically designed for demanding applications where the primary criteria are reliability and low cost.

The sensing element is a solid-state, piezoresistive MEMS silicon die. This technology provides excellent repeatability, increased long-term stability and reliability, and virtually no hysteresis. The silicon strain gage is fitted into a 316L stainless steel package and is completely isolated from the media. There are no internal O-rings or elastomers to contain the media and to contribute to instabilities or drifts.

The solid-state strain gage sensor signal is amplified by state-of-the-art ASIC-based electronics which provides a high-level output from an unregulated voltage supply and a fast response time with no latency, thanks to analog signal processing from end to end. The ASIC enhances accuracy while reducing the transmitter’s size. Coupled with MEMS technology, it also enables Senzors to offer almost any output over any pressure range. Each unit is fully tested, compensated and calibrated for pressure and temperature. Each transmitter is shipped with a traceable calibration card.

Providing excellent media compatibility with all 316L stainless steel wetted parts, it is perfectly suited for applications where media compatibility is a problem. With its high stability, low cost and proven reliability in industrial as well as outdoor environments, it is ideal for OEM applications. A modular design allows special ordering of fittings, electrical connections, output signals, etc.
